Default BBK 70mm Throttle Body

I have a 06 V6 mustang, i swapt out the throttles, everything works fine. but, when i punch it around 5.8k rpm the repair light turns on and the throttle completely goes out so i have to coast to a spot, turn off the car and it works again, i just cant punch it, its bullsh*t to get one. Anyone know whats wrong?

it's a BBK, that's what's wrong no actually i heard some of their stuff is good, just not the throttle body for our cars. I'd swap back to your stock TB or sell the BBK and get a Zabteck throttle body, it's the best one you can get for our 4.0's.

I've heard that throttle bodies do very little and odds are they'll just hurt you more than help.. if bball lord is right and you want a throttle body get the zabteck or just go back to stock

I have yet to have seen a single dyno proving ANY gain. Allot folks making TB have been asked to provide them, but back down from their claims.

That sux; you just wasted $$$ on a TB.
It's one 'power' mod that I researched and didnt do due to cost and not enough benefit.

A tune would have been worth more; you'd have gotten more out of it.

[what part of tejas ???]

right after tb spacer Nav posted 8rwhp with the zabtech on the X, but N/A they offer very little besides better throttle response

Okay, it was the TPS, i fixed it and it works awsome! much better throttle response and with the TB spacer i feel more tourqe and it burns out easier. BBK is good, not bad.
