Default Torque Converter or Gears? need advice

heres the situation...

car is a DD. see very very little track time. much more street racing and hammering it from 5 mph - 20 mph.
I need to get opinions on which way to go. I dont want both, because I dont run drag radials on it since its a DD so will never have the traction for both.

My understanding is that I'd get a lot more out of the TC from a dig, but that getting 3:73 gears would be less noticable from a dig but maybe(?) be a more practical choice for getting on it from a roll etc.

What do you guys think? The car is a 06 auto, so I guess I have 3.31 from the factory.
