I know carfax does a free generic report but you can buy a full report for $30 bucks.. better safe than sorry!

When we bouhgt my wife's Acura, we were int hat "serios looking" mode. The $30 is a BARGAIN IMO. It is so nice to have the car details before we even looked at the car for the first time.

The GREAT thing is that many manufactures now report all service records to Carfax! When I ran the VIN for my wife's new MDX...it came back with 32 hits...I was like, oh great...because she loved the car. Turned out it had been tot he dealer 28 times for all rec'd service intervals...all of them (all those fluffy ones noone ever buys). So we bought it on the spot.

Good luck car hunting!

What are you looking at?

Thanks JD. Got your PM.... And no... I did not know. I was a moron and nver asked the dealer for one when I was buying. I was so in love with the car that I just spaced out. Well, can't tell that there was any major damage. I mean, the car is perfect even now, two years after I bought her. Maybe it was just a little fender bender. Who knows.. I like to think positive, ya' know?? In any case, I appreciate you looking my report up !
