level not lower, the car ? cut or what ?
#21
I went with Roush Springs to lower the rear end Rake All my car (Muscle Car) friends told me you do not want a car that sets level you need a small amount of rake in the rear end. Stomp on the gas you will see the rear squats down and the front lifts up. (changing the center of gravity) you need a small amount of rake in the car. Roush springs in the rear will give you the look you are looking for. The ride will not be the same. You will notice that it is BETTER then before. I may not understand your thinking here so forgive me. I do not understand how you can not lower the car and remove rake. other then to lift the front end (bad Idea) The stock setup has to much rake in it and looks and drives better lowered (rear end) for the dollar amount you spind on new springs it is the cheapest way to go to do what you want to do IMO. Good luck no mater what you decide to do.
When the front end lifts, the weight of the vehicle is now on the
rear tires. Thats good for traction, not steering.
The rake has nothing to do with rear end traction.
You want some squat. Drag springs lift the front end for
better weight on the rear tires.
And they become two big heavy 80Lb missles
during a front end collision. BAD IDEA. Ever been slapped
in the back of the head with 80Lbs of concrete?
