Most people think torquing is not important. Believe it or not I've seen a lot of engine problems because of the wrong torque. Keep in mind Exhaust Manifold nuts are 17 and the exhaust pipe to manifold nuts is 30. Good luck. Before installation though, thoroughly clean the mating surface with a scraper. Avoid leaks and corrode and your car shall thank you. Aluminum is not a strong piece of metal but believe it or not it can take on iron which is strong. Think of a short guy and a tall dude, they both get hurt really bad if they get into a fight but the short guy may end up in the hospital lol Just torque it and you won't have a problem. Ps: Don't use a air gun or any type of special guns. lol Do it by hand whenever you're dealing with an engine bolts.
What size bolts are they? I'm about to swap headers but the kit I got seems a little off for nut sizes. Would like to replace them with new SS also what grade are they?

I got the SS bolts a a place called Fastenal. http://www.fastenal.com/web/home.ex
They have worked fine so far. Used neverseize on them before I put them in. Re- torked about 100 miles after putting them on. MPG went down but HP seemed to increase some.
I was thinking 304 nuts, headers are also 304. Do we have a good write up on doing the switch or should I take pictures as I do it? I didn't find one through the search
I made a thread about the eBay headers not too long ago and I ended up not getting them because of other reasons besides the product, looking forward to hearing some feedback from you to sway my decision.
