Default For the Xcharger crowd: IC Results

This is from Dave@EE, Gaylon and Doug@Bama. Just relaying the information to the folks over here:

2.6" Pulley
11.5PSI
306RWHP
317Torque
112Max AIT
91octane California YUCK gas with who knows what smog additives.

Doug said the consevativley this is around 375 crankshaft horse power.
This is also now 50 state CARB legal.

So now just a matter of time to get tooling for production done and sorce all the parts for the kit.

Red=2.6 Pulley
Blue=2.8 Pulley

With some good 93 I know I could add another 2 degrees of timing and probably end up with another 10-15 rwhp.

Also remember, this is with a completely stock automatic car with the X-charger. If the car had some more bolt on mods like exhaust or headers then the overall numbers would be even higher.

thanks, Doug.

I don't know too much about the X charger, the 2.6 pulley and 11.5 psi, is that the hi-po kit? So is 306/317 the
best or is their a better version for more power? What kind of numbers are you guys putting down without the IC?

From my understanding this was a Cali-Spec Car with Stock exhaust and CA 91 Gas tune because the testing was
done in California. So there is definite room for improvement over these numbers. Probably with some Race Fuel,
Long Tube Headers, Dual Exhaust and Hi-PO CAI should put it in the 330 to 340 range.

Sources close estimated possibly 3 months to have it available in production. Beyond that I wouldn't want to speculate.

yes it is coming soon . the car was dynoed with the 2.8 and 2.6 pulleys x charger cold air kit and inter cooler.
yes the gas is 91 octane and this will most likely be dougs base tune for the kit. the car is stock single exhaust
auto trans stock tires. so guys with duals headers aluminum ds and 93 gas will deff see bigger numbers. remember
this is dougs first tune with this new system and when the production units come out he will have plenty of time
with them. oh yea and when i talked to Dave this afternoon all he could talk about was how quick the response
was. "Snappy" was his actual word. cant wait till mine is on so i can start seeing the chiropractor again!

What was the ambient temp? Just curious what the 110* is compared to.

(I don't know what the typical XCharger IATs are w/o cooling, so just looking ).

110 degrees for the IAT? I'm sold.

Very much looking forward to seeing what this'll do on my car (2.8" pulley, HiPo intake, dual exhaust, headers,
aluminum D/S) My last dyno pull was a 297 RWHP (on a Mustang Dyno on a very hot day) so I'm expecting
those sort of temps, with my setup and 93 octane should be well over 300 at the wheels.

Thanks for posting this Todd.

One thing I noticed was how stinkin' flat that torque curve is. That's a nice amount of steady power
being put to the wheels. SWEET!
