Default gt & gt500 takeoff calipers (direct bolt?)

another brake question .( I know I will need a different rotor and I have 20'' wheels so clearance wont be an issue )

If I am going to upgrade from v6 front brakes to GT or Gt500 takeoffs .

#1. If I buy the Gt calipers will I just be able to bolt them in the place of the v6 ones without any further hardware ? the same question about the Gt 500 brembos.

#2. I am also thinking of buying a Big Brake kit that is advertised to fit a GT.
Could I also put it on a v6 if v6 and gt calipers are interchangeable ?

1.
GT calipers are the same as V6 calipers.
What ya need are the GT rotors (bigger)
and the GT caliper mounting brackets.
GT caliper brackets and GT rotors dont
fit inside V6 16x7" rims.
17x8" or 18x8.5"s GT rims are required as well.

The GT500 Brembos also bolt right up.
But again, the rims must clear the Brembo calipers.

2.
Yep, big brake kits fit if the rims are big enough.
The kits will come with big brackets that bolt to the
existing spindle mounting holes (V6 and GT spindles
are the same pigs)and support the bigger Brembo Calipers
and have the right size bigger rotors as well. You supply
the rims with the proper clearances for the big brakes
and you are in busisness in your V6 with jet plane brakes.
19x9" GT500 rims are required for the GT 500 brakes to fit.

cool so I guess this kit would fit the v6 .14 inch upgrade for $755.

I'm not crazy about the crossdrilled part but I assume that later I could replace them as needed with some slotted 14 inch ones after they are used up.

all the brackets I would need ? those brackets dont look anything like the pics. I bet I would need some GT brackets to bolt to the conversion brackets .?

I have a set of 20x9 inch for the front with 25mm offset so they should fit.

Thanks for the feedback I thought those little brackets didn't look right .
