I'm sure you guys have read in previews of the 2010 that when you drive it, it feels "so much" more stable and tighter than the last generation. Do you think these new stock 2010's handle better than your V6's after your suspension upgrades or do you think it'd be about the same?
I don't think it will be as good as an upgraded after market suspension. It may be an improvement over stock, but I dont think it can hold a candle to a decent aftermarket suspension.
they must have compared it to a current non-pp v6. my gt sways with poly bushings handles very nicely. no need for more unless i was always getting chased by cops...
I'll agree with Sancho. Having extensively driven both, I can tell you for a fact that a PP V6 handles much much better than the default... If Ford upgraded the suspension on the new V6 maybe it's a bit better than the PP, but probably not by much. They're probably comparing it with the default V6 so they can make the car sound better.

Usually when they do car tests/previews, they only drive the GT's and ignore the V6's. They upgraded the GT suspension over the previous years so they do drive better. I doubt they did the same with the V6's. If they made the rear sway bar standard on the V6 then it will probably handle like a current PP car. If they didn't I doubt there would be much difference.
Would an after market rear sway bar perform better or just as good as the PP one?
depending on the size... more than likely better.
the PP sway has OEM rubber bushings, whereas most aftermarket sways come with poly bushings for less flex (it's a pretty big differences between the two bushing types!)
