Default Installing poly bushings on a GT vert rear sway bar

I just finished up installing a set of prothane poly bushings on my takeoff convertible rear sway bar. The bushings on the center links seem to fit really loose on the bar. They slid on with little to no resistance and have a lot of play in them. Is this okay? I bought bushings for a 20mm GT sway bar, are these the wrong ones?. Is the vert sway bar smaller in diameter than the coupe sway bar?

The 20mm are for the GT rear sway bar.
The PonyPackage rear sway bar is 18mm.
The V6 coupe rear sway is the same as the V6 vert rear sway.

sounds like you might actually have the PP vert sway bar instead of the GT vert sway. my bushings fit just right. did the bracket bushings behind the wheel fit loose also?

Yeah the bushings that mount behind the wheels are loose too. I searched around the internet and saw that Prothane has a kit for 18mm sway bars. Looks like I have to order that kit with the smaller bushings.

yup.... OR return and get the GT sway that you thought you were getting. hopefully the GT sway isn't much more $$ than the PP sway.

I'm not too worried about it. I got my set of sway bars for dirt cheap through a group buy on another site. I'll just get the proper bushings for this one. The car is just a daily driver and I doubt I would notice a huge difference with a 20mm bar vs an 18mm anyway.
