Default Do all V6's have 7.5 rears?

I was inquring at my local ford yard for a 3.31 ratio and the man at the yard said I had a 8.8. All I have heard is the V8's only had 8.8's.

but why would you ever want a 331 ratio???
you probably want 373 in an auto

all stock mustang v6 have the 7.5 with 3.31 gears in an auto if your thinking of upgrading the gears the best for an auto are 3.73s and if you are going to change the rear end give new take off a call and they can get you a new 8.8 with 3.73s and a flange that is prewelded on for our v6 mustangs. cost= around 750!!

Spending money on a 7.5 rear is as ressourceful as trying to win the lottery without buying a Lotto ticket.
Have fun with that concept...

I've read the 7.5 is actually much stronger than the 8.8 with both having aftermarket axle tubes. It's also going to be lighter.

This can mean that spending money on the 7.5 is actually more effective than spending it on the 8.8.

You've read... I've read of Global Warming too...
Put a 7.5 on your car then
And enjoy a non posi experience to boot!

Also, I wonder why modders don't use them.
Could it be a secret in plain sight?

I couldn't tell you for sure.
Aren't you getting the whole assembly, with calipers and all?
It's the way to go, because the brake hoses are all you need to hook up besides DS yoke.
I'm assuming the trailing arm (LCA) accept the same mounting points as well...
