I know what they probably say... "Look at THAT stupid azzhole!"

Even if you put decent tires on, weight in the rear and have excellent winter driving skills, "whizzing" past ANYONE in snow is stupid, plain and simple. I hope your luck continues because that's ALL it's been is luck.

Default Anybody able to comment is a limited slip pig in the rear helps push ya straight???

I have been thinking of it for the wifes V6 stock axle....then again for a little bit more I could swap in an 8.8 limited slip take off........If it will help get her going in a straight line is the 8.8 takeoff worth it???

For those of you with auto trans, you can start in second or even third to assist with getting moving on slick surfaces.
Got my license in `57 and didn`t even know what fwd was. Good tires, and an extremely light touch on the throttle and steering and it`s ok.
Oh oh! I forgot where I was, Light touch on the throttle, Ya right!!!!!

First snowfall I owned my Mustang, I pulled out of the driveway and got stuck halfway in the street...40lbs of salt and an hour later, it was back on the driveway. The next move was a set of Blizzaks and it was fine from that point on. Those tires are amazing in the snow and didn't have a problem the rest of the season. Left them on my stock 16's and got some takeoff 18's for the spring/summer.

I gotta say though, the car looks so sad with the stock 16's on it...
