Alright,

So I called my dad today (car's in San Antonio, I'm not) and he told me the dealership said it had something to do with the carburetor. I don't know specifically what, but if they can actually fix it, I'll let y'all know what it is.

Are you sure he said the dealership said it was the carburetor? Because our cars have Fuel Injectiion not carburetors. If that is what he said, I would be taking it to another dealer ASAP.

Maybe it has to do with the fuel injector?? Keep us posted!

I tried to have the dealer explain me the cause of that...
They said it's the fly by wire being moody but they couldn't be 100% sure.
Mine has done it since new but it's not too bad yet.
It goes up to 1200rpm for a couple of seconds and then drop to normal...

I think pascal was being sarcastic! My vote is for expired blinker fluid.

Alright,

So my dad's not too great at explaining things over the phone, so I made him read the invoice from the dealer. He told me it says the only work they did was replace the throttle body. He couldn't find anything more specific on there. He's gonna drive it over the next few days to see if the fluctuating RPMs are really fixed and let me know. I know there are a number of things that could be causing this, so I hope this fix is the right one in this case.

I personally won't get to drive my car until the 1st of May, but if anything changes I'll post then too.

I'll be posting in a few days.
