Bad for my car?
Hey guys, as you know i wrecked my car a few days ago.. Before i sent it to the dealers to get fixed, i tuned my car back to stock. I left the C&L intake in there but i just wanted to ask. I know that if you dont have a tune and you run the C&L intake you can ruin the car, but will it ruin my car if they just run it in little time periods there at the dealer?
Or should i go back, flash it a bama tune or just put the stock air box back in till i get the car back?
I put the stock tune back in before i sent the car to the dealer, bcause i didnt want them to void my warranty..
Let me know
Thanks

I'm not an expert but I don't think its a good idea to run the engine with C&L CAI and stock tune at all. The dealer may not realize this or understand the issue and may do something stupid.
I think put the stock airbox back on for now and flash it to stock. By the way sorry to hear about the accident, hopefully things will work out in the end.

What happens when your car is all fixed and one of the dealership techs takes it for a "test drive" (read goes for a coffeee run flooring it all the way there and back)?
The C&L is not a good fit with the factory tune. It'll take you 5-10 min to put the stock airbox back and protect your engine.
