I currently have an auto v6 and I am planning to get an X charger, I know that the X will work fine with an auto, in fact the auto is even faster than a manual, but I would love to drive a stick, especially in a F/I car!!!!

I know some people will say to trade in on a manual V6 or GT, but it is definitely cheaper to just do a transmission swap, Ive already done it once on a vintage car, but never with a new one with the computer and wires and tuning.

So my question is how should I go about doing this.....

Should I find a wrecked manual v6 and swap out the T5 with all the wiring and pedals?

I know that someone hooked up a T6060 to a V6, but is this realistic?

Will a manual GT fit a v6?

I asked this same question a few months ago. I decided not to do it but since you have done one before your better off than me. Im lookin at sellin my 07 V6 and getting a 2010 GT Premium : ) only need a down payment lol. Anyways go ahead and look it up. its been discussed before. Good luck

no freaking way i would ruin my car by doing a auto to stick swap...

a auto car sells for one thousand dollars more than a stick for a reason, and has higher resale value....

Changing a vintage tranny has nothing to do with changing a auto/manual swap on a new car...

forget about it...

+1 Don't waste your time. If you want a stick just sell it and buy a standard.
