Installing X....how do I get the injectors out?

Default Installing X....how do I get the injectors out?

Anyone? I cant seem to get them out.

If I remember right, they're just pressed in with o-ring seals.

Once you unbolt and pull the fuel rails, the injectors should wiggle out.

This is correct. Just in there with o-rings. Try to clean any debris/dirt from around their base so it doesn't fall into the intake ports, and just gently wiggle/twist them until they loosen.

I think a couple of mine came out with the fuel rail. They are just pushed in and held by orings. You do have to remove (raise up, not remove) the fuel rail on each side to get to the injectors. Gently grab and wiggle with some pliers if you need to, but they will pop out.

It also helps to grab them with a towel or rag so the excess fuel doesn't splash out all over you. (Life lesson learned personally )

****!!!!!!! One of the Manifold Special Plugs slipped out of my hands INTO the intake!!!!WTF do I do and how do I get it out?!?! I can't find it with my fingers....am I *****ED?! Can I get to it through the oil pan? I'm about to lose my mind. The install was going sooo smooth until than.

you can use magnet extractor or use a coat hanger and put a loop on it.
if your talking about the 1" plug they cant get past the intake valve. just get flashlight and the above item(s) and you can get if out.

Thank you so much!!!! I got it out. I was sure it went through the valve at first since I couldn't find it....thanks again! also thanks for the injector help guys! Almost done!
