Default Installing custom billet grill w/ pony c/o

I bought a billet grill w/ pony c/o(mrbodykit.com model assuming) from a member here, and I wanted to see if people here had helpful tips of installing it. I want to cut off as much of the pre-existing GT grill as possible but still leave a decent foundation for the billet grill.

as far as mine I didnt have a cutout, but mine installed right ontop of the old grill. It is a pretty simple install, wife and me did it. As far as ours, it was, four screws, four brackets, four bolts. You will have to first remove the radiator cover, Think it was six plastic pull up pins using a small screw driver to gain access behind the old grill, new grill sits right ontop of the old one run your screw thru put brackets on the back and the put screws on. Now to get brackets in place this was a bit tricky there is very limited room for a hand to fit between the grill, wife did that part , small hands help. Then after the bracket was on I used my small socket wrench to hold the screw in place while I used a screw driver from the front to tighten it. We took our time, I'm sure it can be done by one person but it was nice to have the help to keep things steady and keep the paint from getting scratched. I believe there is a good guide on americanmuscle.com site just look under billet grills. Once you read thru it a couple times I'm sure you'll feel confident in doing it!!! Very simple install even for an amateur like me.

Anyone know how to mount a lower billet grill to a V6 PP. I dont think the lower PP plastic grill accepts the billet

I was referring to cutting the old grill in the most efficient matter.
