Default hood scoop ???

we want a hood scoop on our 06, I want a oem style but don't want to spend the big bucks for one from ford. question is who makes a nice oem type scoop? (fit and finish) we would also want it painted to match . thanks for any input

Well, do keep a look out on Mustang Forums classified section where you can buy Mustang parts from other members here. I was just looking on there this morning and saw a torch red GT hood scoop for $60... and that included shipping.

Too bad it wasn't Vista Blue 'cause I would have snapped it up!

Roush Hood Scoop all the way! Can get one pre-painted to match at stage3motorsports

I get so many looks with this baby on the hood You have to line up a template and drill into your hood. It's pretty easy though. Hardest part is getting over the nerves to take a drill bit to your hood

i really dig the roush scoop but the drilling part is what makes me think twice about getting one. the lmp is definitely factory/conservative look but nothing wrong with that and no drilling required which is nice in case you ever want to remove it and sell it. JMO.
