Motived tend to make a lot of noise, unless installed EXACTLY PERFECT. Do a search on them .

As far as the install kit, go for the one that has mainly pinion bearings and carrier bearings, and other stuff like shims can be useful as needed.

It will take 2 bottles of rear end fluid (75w-90), and 4 oz of friction modifier for the tloc.

Well i think thats the case with any set of gears, they'll whine if done wrong...

Friction modifier...Is this good stuff

Is the Motive gear install kit pretty good?

The motive install kit is fine.
I've always only used Ford friction modifier, but as long as it's compatible.
$5 a bottle or less is reasonable.

Yup, found that kit a while back too, sorry I did not advise on that one sooner, good package deal. Also, if you search, you can find a coupon code for Stangmods and save a %.

Install tomorrow morning.
