Default Finally we get to drive my wife’s car again

For those that get to drive their cars year round you may miss out on the joy of getting reacquainted to driving them again each spring! Being from Alaska we have to ‘store’ our summer toys during the winter. So it is a bit of a thrill to drop the top for the first time ‘again’ once the weather gets nice!
Here are some pics taken last week about 10 miles from our house! It was about a 60 degree day.
We have some plans for the 06 Mustang this summer and I will post those changes when they happen if others are interested. Hope you enjoy:

lol When we got our first convertible I talked to a friend that lives in Phoenix I was like Man, why doesn't everyone own a convertible down there? He replied with have you had you new car out with the sun beating down on you and it's 100+ degrees ... I laughed and said NOPE! I see your point.

Last Summer I drove the Goldwing from Alaska to Texas and saw 116 degrees at the high just outside of Las Vegas BUT the temp was over 105 for right @ 9 hours during my 12 hour drive!! Coolest I saw that day was 92 degrees. This Alaska kid had NEVER been in temps over 95! I was hateing life, that day!!!
Cruising across the desert I thought I would speed up to 'increase the wind chill' ALL tht did was remind me I was in a rotisserie it was just MORE hot air hitting me ...
Heres a pic @ 114F

lol Oddysy the Goldwing is in San Antonio stored at my B.I.L.'s place. I am dreading going and getting it either in June or July ... Might leave it down there as our riding season is over buy September and we'll have wheels when we visit them.
