Default Problem with XCal - Rough shifting

I just got the Xcal and installed it in my automatic today and now the car sort of jerks when it shifts from 2nd to 3rd or when it downshifts from 3rd to 2nd. It is a very rough shift. The program was set to run high octane and I am still running 87 (I will fill up in the morning with 93) but I don't think that is the problem. Does anyone have any idea what could be causing this and how to fix it? I also haven't gotten the improvement that others have gotten when it comes to throttle response. It also still takes a couple of seconds after you hit the gas for it to finally go.

Thanks.

the tuner MAY have reprogrammed your shifter to be a little firmer to increase the life of your auto (wich is what i have as well). and the feeling u get when u mash the gas in D is the "throttle lag" the slower u depress the the throttle the longer the computer takes to shift to peak torque/hp level. somtimes it is easier to drive in the 1,2,3 gears...

You definitely need to use 93 octane. I was using 89 when I flashed the computer and the engine was knocking at high rpms. 2nd to 3rd is a firmer shift when I am giving it little throtlle, but when I punch it, it shifts real smooth. You should definitely be seeing a 100% difference in throttle response.
