Default Soooo there I was........

Driving down the road when the old dodge truck finally bit the bullet in front of the local Ford dealership. Well they gave me $1000 for my truck and I now have a 2005 Ford Mustang. Guess I will give up the dodge truck forums and start hanging out here. I have not driven a car in soooo long it is taking some getting use to, but it is a fun little car and I think it will work out great for me. I have been lurking around here for the past couple of days and you guys / gals have some very nice cars. I did not realize how much you can mod/customize these cars. I am starting to put together a list of things I think I might want to do to mine, starting with a new muffler and I like that old thread about the message center gauge cluster swap.

Anyways, I am sure I will have lots of questions as time goes on, I just hope I don't ask some really dumb ones (if I do feel free o flame me).

I paid $10K for it with ~45,000 miles on it. It is pretty much bare bone except power windows, power locks, A/C, and C/C. I will try and post some picks, it is mineral grey with the light tan interior. A long time ago I drove a Mustang II in high school and it was a piece of crap. This car has a lot more of giddy up and go compared to the Mustang II.

Congrats on your new Stang!
Yep, the S197's have more HP and Torque compared to the Mustang II. ;-)
Enjoy the new ride!

It's just the chassis designation for the 2005+ mustang body style. IE: 94-98 was SN95 and 99-04 was the New Edge body style
