Is there anything wrong with the Bamachips Predator Tuner???

there is definitely nothing wrong with the predator. I think the main difference is that SCT has a usb port while the predator has standard serial port.
The tune file that gets uploaded to your cars computer is the same if you use the predator or not; however, with predator you will have to get usb to serial or serial to serial cable to save your tunes to a computer.
I bought the predator and a USB to serial cable and saved my tunes to my computer and email them to myself for safe keeping. It is definitely a good idea to backup your custom and stock tunes.

the car will be no different whether you use a diablo or sct when installing "CUSTOM TUNES". only difference is the programmer hardware itself, black vs green and different display. if you want to go beyond that, i believe diablo loads their tuners with better "canned/default" tunes than sct does. but again, if you order custom tunes, than it doesnt matter which tool you use.
