To cut or not to cut??
#21
If you have tin snips, you can cut the rear bumper no problem. There is a template on the forum...
Hell, if you have a sharp kitchen knife you can cut the rear bumper. It's not steel or anything.
I cut it, knowing some day that I'll want the GT500 rear bumper, no GT takeoff kit for me.

I agree, that's why when mine was in the shop getting duals, I had the shop guy cut the other side while it was on the lift, using the template on this forum. He said it was very easy to do. Cut like butter! I bought some Motorcraft touch up and he sanded and touched up the edges for me. When no mufflers on, both cut outs looked identical. I figured why spend the $ on a bumper when I could spend it on other stuff? I like the unique look of the V6 with duals and cut outs.
