rear roush springs need new shock/struts?
I've been looking into to the roush rear springs and they're a pretty good deal that evens out the body nicely. Can the springs ride on the rear shocks and struts and be alright? or is it better to just replace it all like a full lowering job?

I got a set of roush rear spring really cheap at Englishtown and i ran them with the stock shocks. so what if they wear out quicker, wait till they wear out then replace them Are you going to put them on the shelf and save them for a 100pt restoration? everybody keeps saying they will wear out quicker how many have tried them to find out how much quicker. the roush springs only lower .75 yes the suspension now has to do its job quicker but is it any different than if you had rear seat passengers, I found the roush springs improved the ride took the bounce out of the car. I have put konis on the rear now and i really dont see a huge difference than the stock shocks little bit softer ride. I say if your shocks are good leave them til they wear out. I think what it is people have almost worn out shocks put the springs in and then blame the springs. I've also seen pictures of roush struts that have failed, but now they have updated the welds on them.

They are valved to match the Roush spring rate.
Roush rears with OEM stock shocks make
the rear end handle worse than OEM stock
shocks and OEM stock springs.
If you dont mind the extra wheel hop,
decreased handling over stock and increased
rear tire wear, then Roush rear springs with
OEM shocks is for you.
And who carries back seat passengers?
The stang is a two seater at best.
