Default What are some good headers...

That will compliment my FRPP V6 Dual Exhaust and give me a little more boost if possible? Thanks

not really...headers and the 4.0 motor dont really do much together...you will fell a bit of lower end torque and the exhaust note will get a little deaper and get a growl from 2-4k rpms...you can get the JBA headers or get the cheap ones from ebay...they all the same IMO

You have to remove the cats which would not sound that good, even if you have longtubes.

I feel like if you remove the cats and put on longtubes it would sound awesome....also, it definately adds performace when you go with long tubes... With a good set you could probably pump out an aditional 10 HP

how are you going to keep it legal with no cats...to high of a cost for me with little reward...i have shortys and they only cost 100 bucks...LT Headers are going to run about 1200 for Kooks headers and cats....OR 700 for mac LT headers and prochamber with no cats...

In the end I think headers are probably not worth it in the long run I suppose. Like people said not alot of gain...Just a though

They are well worth it to me. Its all in oppion really, they really helped my sound though I mean it made it sound so much better. I would say go to ebay and get you some China headers 150 shipped you just put them on. That is what I did and I have no complaints. Unless that is if you are CA then get you some JBA shorties. Longtubes just are not worth it on a V6 unless you have the whole motor built and running some form of Forced induction. They are epensive, hard to put on, and last most are not legal even though that isnt a big deal here

i noticed a positive difference with mine and i'm very pleased. i will admit that its not a significant jump in performance or sound but it is noticeable. for performance, difference is felt in the low end as advertised. car seems to "reach" the powerband quicker. for sound, you should notice a crisper, deeper, throatier sound. not a big difference but again, it is enough to notice.

i would only purchase headers if you can get a good deal on them (used are great if you can find a good set). STAY AWAY from full retail price or fake "SALE" prices that are still pushing $350+. if you pay too much for your headers, then you will not feel justification for the mod. JMO.

Just because you get long tubes does not mean you have to have no cats! Sure, it may require a little more fabrication, but you can run long tubes with high-flow cats.

Is it worth it for performance? Not if you're N/A. Save the money for something else.
