Hey guys, so u remember my accident from april? Stupid drunk driver hit and run on me..

here are some pics

i know that hood doesnt look right with the gt front end, but in person its not that bad. eventaully im going to upgrade to the gt500 front end.. but thats not for a while.. but im glad im getting my car back.. i still want to put the strip back on.. looks weird without it.. and i cant wait because i have a new procharger stage 1 superchager sitting here at home waiting to be installed . :-)

Awesome! I have had my share of bad luck but it looks good. I hate dealing with new paint though.
I bet your excited for the supercharger!

Why don't you let them paint a stripe on for you? It would last a lot longer.

the wonderful dealership body shop wont paint a stripe on.. Theyll bring some guy in to do the vinyl or tape stripe.. but they want 575$ for the stripe plus labor... as it is. they charged me 4 hours worth of labor to remove my stripe off my roof and trunk lid to paint the car. 4 hours!!! would have taken me 10 minutes.. oh well.. but yea they wont PAINT one on.. i wanted that originally

I hope you aren't paying for any of this out of pocket.. insurance is covering all this, right?

ok well it was a big mess.. they valued my car really low when the insurance dude decided to total my car.. well em to the body shop said the car wasnt that bad at all and if i repaired it the car would be great.. well it came time for the payout on the car from the insurance and i battled them that my car was worth more.. 2007 with only 16K miles on it.. i got them to raise the value to 18,231 from 12,968.. then after buying the car back from the insurance i ended up with like 14,697. The cost of repairs so far is 12,346 and then to repaint the rest of the car that wasnt in the accident i had to pay 1,366. So yea it wasnt to bad.

looks very nice, and i like that hood on that front end, it works for me, but the pictures might now show how its miss-fitting, and i think that once you have a strip painted on it will tie it all in a lot better.
