You might mention the TSB out on the incorrect rear end fluid level that some stangs left the assembly line with. It was specified to be a certain distance below the fill bung. It has since been revised with a TSB to be filled to the bottom of the bung threads. Maybe that contributed to your early rear end failure?

I wish you were closer. I have a 7.5 with 3.31's I would sell cheap.
However, you certainly should be under warranty. Good luck with the lemon law and the warranty repair.

Well I know this has been REALLY delayed but I plan to go to the dealer tomorrow and see if they'll cover this or not. If not I've gotta go through all my files and get every last bit of documentation and fax it to the lawyer. Or I might just say screw it and get the dang 8.8...
I really dont know what my argument at the dealer should be though.
Anyone have any suggestions on how I should approach them?

At some point in time the laywer will cost
more than the repairs and your time and trouble?
Dont let it cross that line....

Not sure how to appraoch them except as an unhappy customer?
Smile a lot and dont let them change the subject until you get a definite
answer. A tape recorder is an intimidator.Document everything.
Have them state their name and time/date at the begining and the
end of the meeting.

If this is covered under the Lemon Law then the Lawyers will cost nothing and Ford will have to pay for everything.
