Mid-Muffler vs Axle back Mount sound difference?

Wondering which one would be deeper/louder?
If you took the same pair of mufflers and mounted them:

MID MUFFLER

VS

AXLE BACK

I've heard a V6 with mid mufflers in my town. At first I thought it was a GT until I seen the Rear BUmper and pony faux gas cap. It sounded very good, although I don't know which brand it was.

the decible levels should be around the same. the midmuffler will sound more bass bc of the location and the resonance coming from under the cabin. the axle back will sound more like a 'blaaat' kind of sound, sorry thats the best expaination i can think of. but i like both the mid muffler and the magnapack setup. the bigger question is which one is better made and will install w/out a hitch. i think the the magnaflows are a better made system, although i have m80's welded in but have heard of a few pypes MM fitment issues.
