Default HIGH BEAM INDICATOR LIGHT

Is there a way to turn off the high beam indicator light in the dash?

Ha Ha.
There is no way other than to pull the cluster and remove the
illuminating bulb. The SJB tells the Insturment Cluster when to
illuminate the Hi Beam Indicator.

Did you try turning off your high beams first? LOL, the indicator should only be on when the high beams are on.

Default High beam indicator light.

What I meant was the light in the dash. I had a 2005 Silverodo that you could turn the indicator light off. The one on my car is just stupid bright and looks bad against my red guages.

It is suppost to be stupid bright like the stupid bright high beams.
Its to remind you and others to turn off the fricken high beams
when cars are approaching. To dim of an dashboard indicator
and it might slip your mind.
It was designed to be a CONSTSANT reminder that you brights are on,
was it not.
IT seems to be working properly like Ford wants....
The high beam indicator could be a cattle prod in the seat cushion
as far as I am concerned...
I have not found many occasions that warranted high beam use
but some use them like they get paid to do so....

Not being from the state of brother and sisterly love i know when to go from high to low beam and even know what the indicator light is for. I want to know if there was a way to dim or disable the light. Not to know how mentally disabled you were, or to get a lecture about how and when to use high beams. If you can't keep up with the conversation shut the bleep up!

Bleep bleep. Keepen Keepen up.
Darn RoadRunner. Beep Beep.
Those that dont know how to remove the
cluster and apply some window tint to the
high beam indicator indicator are destined
to have the little blue ICON forever burned
into their retinas.

Or you could replace your 12V battery with a 6V battery
for half the brightness but this will happen globally....
