It does crack me up every time I hear someone talking about the blind spot in the back 1/4 window. Let them drive what I do (10 ft high x 19 ft long truck) all day long and they will learn to use their side mirrors.
I bought a set of blind spot mirrors and attached them to my Mustang's side mirrors and I've got to tell you, it's the BEST mod I've done. You Do NOT have to turn your head to look back when changing lanes, so it doesn't matter if the 1/4 window is covered.

true.... how bout this then... the slotted louvers still allow a little light to come through

Those look great, would've eventually got the same ones but I found a great deal on my CDC's and haven't looked back since
