How much horsepower?

RE: How much horsepower?
I had the 5.0 V8 T-Bird not long ago and my 4.0 V6 would smoke the T-Bird even before I added my mods. I have to tell you though, compared to the V6 the GT is a rocket ship. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise. Is it worth $6,000? ($22K vs. $28K) The V8 appears to be the better deal if you can scratch up the cash at $93 per HP vs. the $105 per HP the V6 is going to cost you. Either way, any 2005 Mustang is going to make you climb out of bed every morning and look forward to that commute to work.

Have you dyno tested your ride. You got good mods but I am still doubtful that you can keep up with a GT. Not without a pro-charger. Not trying to put you down dude, just curious. I plan on moding mine out a bit, but without a charger and some new gears I doubt I'll get it up there. Unless of course your running nitrous.

I don't think an extra 90HP is possible without a S/C. I do think it is possible to add and extra 50-60HP and be out running a stock 1999-2004 GT though. The 2005 V6 is a sweet ride but don't let anyone tell it compares to the 2005 V8 which is a much stronger engine.

RE: How much horsepower?
I've been asked simliar questions numerous times. People want to know why a 4.0 V6 only puts out 210. My friend has a 3.5 V6 in his Nissan Maxima and that puts out 265. Obviously this engine has a lot of potential to improve power.
