TCI Ratchet Shifter ON... another satisfied customer ! ! !
This sure makes driving more fun... DEF recommend to all who couldn't get a manual...
The advantages of ratchet shifting over leaving it on D is that it eliminates throttle lag
because you select the gears* instead of waiting for the computer to shift...
so this product is great if you have an automatic and autocross or do a lot of mountain
driving but if you go WOT(drag) then I would leave it in D because tune and the computer
will shift faster
*1,2,3,4(D with OD off),5th(D with OD On)
NOW FOR THE PICTURES!

That looks so sick with the custom ball on there! Be sure to post pictures when you figure out how to mod that huge t-handle lever thing. I'll buy one as soon as I know that can be changed to look less huge and tacky.

Here is what I tried... I replaced it with a small black round cap:
the problem is that the trigger is very VERY stiff and is hard to move without that 'paddle' theres no leverage when its that short so I ended up putting the 'paddle' back on and I'll just run with it... its not bad in person it looks bigger in the pics

The trickiest part was figuring out how to detach and reattach the shift cable underneath the car
It's like a motorcycle... when coming to a stop you have to shift down sequentially to 1st since you can't throw it in neutral like a standard. Its easy to learn and its second nature after awhile. Just downshift around 1k rpm for smoothness...
I got it from JEGS for $330
