The E3 plugs were installed to try to correct this problem.

Ok, here is the latest. I tried cleaning the battery posts as suggested and no change. I then took the car to an exhaust shop and they fixed the rattling exhaust as was also suggested could be the problem. Again there was no change. I went to Autozone to get the codes checked but they no longer do this. At this point I was really getting frustrated because I am thinking coil or fuel pump. Well today I finally got some more time to look at the car. I decided to check the connection of all the sparkplug wires. I started checking and all looked good until I got to number 5 at the coil. The end was all corroded and half of the tip is missing. I cleaned the wire and coil as best I could. I know I need new wires but do I need a new coil too? Any ideas on how to get all of the corrosion out of the plug in the coil? What wires should I get, aftermarket or from Ford?
