I went 35% on fronts, 20% on 1/4s and rear. The cops in WI carry a meter to measure the darkness, but the meter has to be able to slide over the glass. They can't measure the rear window.
I don't think that it is too hard to see out the windows at night. And the tint gets darker depending on the angle you look at it. So without being right next to the car, it is hard to totally judge how dark it is.

I don't know how to attach pictures, but if you look at my profile there is a good picture looking through the drivers window. Showing that 35% isn't that dark.

yea i just tinted my smaller back windows and man I can't believe how easy it is to do with just one extra person. Soon I will be going to get more tint to do the back window and the two side windows that are left.

I call BS on that... no way cops can do that.
I want to see pics of a cop doing that before i believe it..
It happens so rarely that getting a pic of the actual act
of cutting the tint by a cop is nearly impossable unless
it is currently happening to you. I dont have tint so that
counts me out... I have heard of it and seen the direct
results firsthand more than once at the local tint shop
that gets to seal the deal and remove the damaged tint.
Plumbers and window tinters make good friends....

BS this and BS that
It happens even though it has not been fully documented
