Exhaust too loud inside car
About a year ago I had dual x-pipe cat-back flowmaster installed on my v6. I'm getting tired of the noise inside the car on the highway when I'm going 70+. There is also some vibration coming from the dash at high RPMS........so is there a way to lower the loud noise inside the cabin? do I need completely different mufflers?
Thanks.
Thanks.

You can apply Dynamat to the inside of your car. It will cut out the noise from outside and make your stereo sound much better too. You can do it yourself, or get a shop that specializes in car stereos to do it for you.

^+1 Dynomat is a very effective way to deaden the sound a little bit, but it can be a pain in the but to do.
I run the GTB's and they are VERY deep, at idle you cant hear them inside the car and you only start to notice them at rpm's over 1500. What's really cool is that they get EXTREMELY loud at rpms over 3000. So they are loud only when you want to be loud. At 70 mph it is like a low humm but it doesnt resonate in the car at any rpm.
My friend were in their truck with the windows up and the radio on 1/4 up and 3 cars back at an intersection. I gave it 3/4 full throttle and they said they hears it over the radio and it was quite loud even with the windows up! lol

A quick way to see if dynamat will do the trick is to put a couple of thick comforters in your truck or stuff it with moving blankets. If this helps decrease the sound to somewhat comfortable levels then you know dynamat will help. Also, make sure the exhaust is not rubbing anywhere on the body or that the exhaust is loose and causing the dash to rattle. Finally, if the exhaust is custom made, make sure the tips stick out a little at the rear and are not flush with the rear panel or inside it.
