shoot, I've seen them for sale with 2 or 3 clips missing ! I don't know how you're supposed to loosen the clips, but I push mine up, towards the top of the clip and that seems to work in releasing the detent on the clip. I went to a center fog grill, not a GT style. It was a little tight in the middle with the cross brace, but it all fit.

Street Scene rocks with the quality and fit...
The 3D Carbon center fog light grill
requires sheetmetal bending for it to fit...
