2005 V6 with erratic Fuel Gauge
Just bought this Screaming yellow Mustang. Super Clean car with only 39,000 miles. Previous owner maintained the car well. The only problem with the car is erratic fuel gauge. Works fine and then all of a sudden it will register half tank or empty when its full or near full. The previous owner was up front with me about past issues with the car and I was told the only warranty work done was fuel tank replacement for hard to fill past half tank. The erratic fuel gauge problem just started, tank was replaced in late 2007. Would appreciate any feed back on fix for fuel gauge.

Could it possable that you do not fully understand the 4
modes of the S197s fuel guage logic?
Its not just a sender to a wire to a guage anymore.
