I believe I might have one of these off my wrecked partout car...

I'm pretty sure it had a scratch on it though... it isn't exactly in mint condition.

PM me if you're interested and I can try to shoot you some pics.

This thread is a bit old but after reading I could probably answer the question.

The black piece on your trunk lid is called the "Trunk Lamp Assembly". It houses the trunk lamp, trunk emergency release, etc.

This piece goes for MSRP $60.98 and can be found at any Ford authorized Dealer.

I have found this very same piece online for $45.37 at Team Ford Parts.

Lot of dough for what it is.
Worth a trip to the bone yard.

When mine broke off, I removed the light and lens from the black part and remounted it with zip-ties on the left side. I didn't think $60 was worth it. The latch and light stuff is exposed, but who's looking!

Overloading your trunk then slamming the lid onto the obstruction.

I'm looking to replace the lightbulb inside that trunk lamp assembly box. I am talking about the one that illuminates the trunk when you open it, not the license plate light. After tons of searching, all I have found is a LED that costs $20. Does anyone know where I could get that bulb, or perhaps if it is the exact same bulb as the license plate light?
