Question Is it better to finance through Ford or My Bank (TD)

Well my lease is almost over next month and good news all I need is a co signer (have one) and $1000 bucks (which I can get) and I can finance my car. I thought about through Ford and my cousin suggested maybe through my bank which is TD. I dunno, he said it's better to cut Ford out of the picture and just go through the bank instead which I understand, besides interest rates which are 7.99-8.99 through TD is there anything else that should make do it through the bank?

I know Ford uses alot of other banks such as Chase, Capital 1 which I think suck anyway...

I have use Ford Motor Credit and have had no issues, I got a low interest rate and would use them again. They offered a lower interest rate than our bank at the time.

FORD CREDIT FTW

Support Ford, not your local bank...
They need no help making $$.
Ford does....

It depends if you need the rebate money to get out from under debt from another car. Also consider if you plan on paying the car off before the end of the loan term. If you plan on paying off faster, take the rebate money. You won't have to pay out as much in the end. If you are going to pay through the whole term of the load, get the lower interest rate.

I used Ford Credit as well and no issues at all, with a better rate than a bank could provide.
In fact, when hurricane Charlie hit us in Orlando, I got a letter from Ford Credit that said they were willing to post pone payments up to 4 months with no fees if we were one of the unfortunates than got hit hard and suffered extensive damages to our house.
So it could ease our financial troubles a bit.
I didn't suffer anything (renting at the time) but I thought that was cool from them anyway.

Also, if you do good on your first credit history with Ford, they won't forget and you will get good rates on your next car.

+1, this last time I went in to buy my wifes Edge (3 cars bought through FoMoCredit) I basically had a blank check. When I asked what I was approved for, the sales guy said anything we sell. They are a good company when it comes to customer loyalty.

Ultimately, choose whomever gives you the best interest rate. I've used Ford Credit in the past and was very happy.
