Ya, i think im going to go with the shaft masters, next quistion is, is it worth it? i understand your taking some 25 pounds off the driveline, but is it noticable gain? they say its a .20 seconds off the 1/4 runs. true or false?

I'd say False.
It does make acceleration smoother. If you're doing it to shave time at the track, it's probably not the best use of your $$$.

I gained almost 0.2 at the track when I put my Shaftmasters on. So in addition to the smoother acceleration and lack of vibration I picked up some time.

Gonna have to point me in the right direction when I make a trip down to the 805 for my gears and driveshaft, Sancho.

I did the shaft master route. Like Jimc said, its a great product, w/awesome people to day with.
To answer the question, for me the mod was worth it in everyway, smoothed out the ride, knocked down the freeway noise and gave me piece of mind to know my stock piece wouldn't explode and btw it frees up about 17lbs of rotational mass.

Shaftmasters is the way to go. Still the least expensive aluminum driveshaft out there for the 05+ Mustang V6. It cured a vibration at 72-73 mph that just would not go away on my 05 Mustang. Its also very smooth at all speeds. I have been running there driveshaft now for 2 years and love it. A well made product that is very easy to install. If you have an 05-early 06 Mustang V6 this driveshaft is a must. Stock shaft is 30 lbs. and the aluminum is 17.5 lbs.
