Default Window Not Sealing

We all know how the window seals when you close the door. Well my window will not move up to the sealed postion anymore, and for the longest time the door would not read that it was closed so anybody had this problem. Any guesses

Is it a power window? I wonder if the window motor is getting tired. You can try to spray the weatherstrip with silicone spray (from the parts store), or try to put a little white grease on the window track inside the door.

That happens to me once in a while. I think what I did was lower the window all the way turn off the car, turn it back on and see if it raises back up all the way and seals. Or you could just try unplugging the battery and see if that helps.

It happens once in a while, best thing to do is turn the car off, close your door, turn the key back on, pull the window switch up and hold for 2 seconds, it should then seal. My other stan had the battery drainage problem and this happened all the time. Its in the owners manual.

Try recalibrating the window per the Owners Manual. It's that paper thing in the glove box...

There are recaliberating instructions in the back of the owners manual.
