Question about purchasing a tuner
As you can see from my sig, I have added an Airaid CAI and Pypes dual exhaust. From where my car ran stock at 15.6x the car is now running around a 15.1 fairly consistant. I don't feel that I am driving the car better then when I first ran it so I think its safe to say the pickup has come from the addons. My question is that if I spend the 300 bucks and get a diablo tuner, would i be able to break into the 14's? I'm afraid that the car had gained all it can from the boltons and that the tune isn't going to help much if at all. what do you guys think?

If you are at 15.1xx now, a handheld tuner from a reputable shop should put you into the 14's. Aftermarket tunes will help, and you might look around for a used CAI (like from somebody who went forced induction) to match the tuner with. I'm not sure the Airaid is helping you all that much.

also if you plan on ever getting a dyno pull and tune, call the company your likely going to go through, save you $400 later if get the same one. alot of people are using the sct stuff. but call. see what they use, you'll be a step ahead.

It's not the duals, although replacing the restrictive stock V6 muffler with anything should help. Also keep in mind that it could be many different factors - air temp, track prep, 60' times, etc. Would need to compare slips.
