Default TCI ratchet shifter & Morosso tanks

So I got my TCI ratchet shifter and installed it. I gotta say it is better than I expected. The install was not as easy as they claimed it to be (unless you have access to a lift). But the quality is excellent, it seems alot better than the stock shifter for sure.

It is also alot of fun to play around with, although it doesn't seem to let you downshift as easily (unless I did something wrong).

Here are some pictures of it installed, along with my coolant expansion tank and power steering tank also

Look like in the 3rd picture your cat is admiring your car haha.

Looks like a fun new mod, but what is wrong when you downshift?

i didnt know you could have a ratchet shifter and a supercharger, i always thought manually shifting an automatic supercharged car was bad

No, there wouldn't be a difference in an auto shifting manually or a manual shifting car. It isn't as efficient, for the track you want it in drive and leave it.

Avalanch3: Before I swapped out the shifter I could downshift no issues, but with this shifter it seems like if I am too high on rpm's it won't downshift.

Oddysey,

I would like to insure that your ratchet shift is operating properly. If you can please email, pm or call me when you get a chance. Thank you for choosing TCI products.

Thanks

Russ

Thanks Russ, I appreciate that. I will try the things we discussed on the phone. It is nice to see companies going the extra step and backing up their products!
