I bought Gt take-offs and put the right side on tonight. The sound is a lot better than stock!! still not as loud as I was looking for but definitely a big improvement. Anyone done this on a 2010 yet? I got take offs off a appearance pack manual GT nice rolled chrome tip, however the tip on pre-2010 GTs are shorter than 2010.....??
take a look at the picks and let me know what you think? I'm not sure if I like it or not.

also attached are pics of the internals of both mufflers, showing the difference in chamber sizes, the gt muffler is a lot larger than the stock v6.

The bumper is a lot bulkier on the 10's, explains why the tip doesn't go out as far. Good job on the mod, you're right that its a good improvement. I'm just about ready to upgrade from the GT takeoffs, just waiting to be able to install the new ones

You did get the M/T take-offs, right?
The auto take-offs are a waste of time....

The sound will just get better and better...

yes these are off a Manual. driving it to work today I definately notice a difference in the sound. I like it. I am pleased so far.
