Although not as common on the '07's and up, the S197 suffers from a water leak into the passenger kick panel where the Smart Junction BOX (SJB) is located. If not corrected and attended to, the dampness will eventually corrode connections to the SJB and result in all kinds of gremlims. Assuming THAT'S your problem, of course, then the remedy is to clean all of the connections.

Its not the 'connections' that go bad from the wetness.
Its the galvanic corrosion thats sets up on the SJB circuit board.
The copper traces are turned into a white powder.
A simple 'connector cleaning' wont suffice, Nuke.

Pull the passenger side carpet and pad back and look for signs of wetness, water intrusion, or mold.

Thanks, 157db. Since I haven't had the issue myself I wasn't aware of this and made a WAG assumption.

What IS the proper method of cleaning the SJB? Or are we S.O.L. and need a new board? Perspiring minds want to know...

ok well i checked out the passenger side and no wetness or mold
even took a look at the box and felt around and didnt feel any dampness or anything
so i think it might just be the battery
im hoping the tire monitor fault is a result of the tune bc it appeared teh 1st time after i started the car after loading the tune
