Sure, arming the Nitrous system. They are very popular and come in lots of different styles now, and lettered for various applications as well.

it depends on the motor for the opener/closer

if the motor has a stop on it then sure
but if it keeps cranking then you prob will have to get a push and hold switch

how hard would it be to wire one of the to be like a push button start? like an ignition "switch"

Do you mean, you flick the switch and then start the car?
like a kill switch sort of?

i have one of these, i will post pics tomorrow, i have mine wired to a set of driving lights in my grill, you can literally do just about anything with these switches, dont buy it from roush though, go to schucks, mine was 9 bucks, roush is just a mark up on these. I did the wiring for the lights myself though... so you need to have some knowledge..... just a little... to do the wiring right. what where you planning on wiring it to?

not to hard... i think.... do all the wiring like you would for the "push start" and then cut the 2 wires to the button... then crimp on some female adapters to the end of the wires and plug them into the 2 male adapters on the bottom of the switch, i would get some more insight into this though before you start ripping apart your ignition...
