oh come on. It isn't that bad. I get 17-18 mpg's with my S/C and that is getting on it often. When I ran the 93 race tune, I would go as low as 15.5mpg if I did nothing but get on it. I could get all the way up to 22 (city) if I drove regular.

As if fuel economy was an issue... If it was, we wouldn't spend in the neighborhood of $650 for a CAI & tune and then quibble over a few MPG's. Get real. We didn't buy these cars for economy. We bought them for the wood they give us. And we all know that fuel economy is inversely proportional to wood!

good point. the best mpg tune is actually the weight of your foot. one tune might have the edge over the other but it all comes down to driving style. we didnt get stangs to drive like granny's.

Well yeah I know.....just was curious about what people average and which tune was the best...I have ran both for the last 2 years and can't figure out which one I like more yet.

IMO, race is for pleasure, torq is for DD... 87 perf is for when times are tuff.
