I own a 2005 Ford Mustang V6 Manual and it is very loud inside the car. The groan/whine noise really starts up at 40 MPH and even with the stereo up very loud I can still hear it. It happens on Coast, Deceleration, Acceleration.......probably loudest on Deceleration/Coast though. I've done a lot of research and I think it may be TSB 08-21-06 as described here:

Car is stock and I would just like to reduce this really loud bothersome noise. It is kind of ruining my experience with an otherwise very fun to drive car. I looked up how much the Tuned Damper Kit costs and it is around $50.00 and I was wondering if this is a pretty easy install for the DIY'er? My car was built in Jan 2005, so according to the TSB it already has the required mounting holes.

Thanks for any insight or experience you've had related to this problem.

Edit: Has anyone installed these dampers and noticed a substantial reduction in sound? Just kind of wondering if they really work.
