Default gt take off parts on v6?

The springs and shocks/struts will not lower my v6, but will help in the handleing of the car. What would be the best gt take off parts to get for my stock V6 mustang(well stock at this point)?

mufflers, rear axles, and brakes are the only things really, unless you want to make it look like a GT too.

The biggest bang for the buck is a single takeoff GT muffler. They cost almost nothing and just bolt on. The single muffler will add some ooompf and give you a deeper engine note. If you feel like spending another $250, you can install the second muffler and pipes. That's is more for show than anything else.

Adding the GT front and rear swaybars also is a cost-effective mod. Install the poly bushings (available at Moss) at the same time. Do this especially if you don't have the Pony Package already. It made a huge difference is stability and handling. The sways were just $100 but I had to pay my dealer another $200 for the installation.

I'd recommend these two mods to every V6 owner. They are easy, pretty cheap, and made a big, big difference in the quality of the ride.

I have gt mufflers from a manual gt and am waiting to figure out if i want to cut my bumper or try to find a gt bumper. You said swaybars as well are a good investment?

gt SHOCKS SPRINGS STRUTS
wont do anything but kill the ever so-so V6 handling.
Now the F/R GT sways and GT take-off brake rotors/caliper
mounting brackets are another story.
Read it first.
Its a trilogy and you need tyo start at the beginning.
And poly bushings EVERYWHERE.

I added both sway bars along with the shocks and struts off a Gt ,, went with Roush lowering springs in the rear only ,, the car handles very nice indeed , I bought all off ebay from New take off ,, I also went with the larger GT front brakes again ,, it was a cheap upgrade , you have to have the 17 inch wheels to beable to do this as the stocker 16s will not fit anymore , You can install all this stuff yourself , I did ,, it is not that hard to do at all , Go with Dual exhaust if you can ,, it just looks great ,, Most use the Pypes system from most online mustang web sites

Yep, the sways made a big, big difference in handling. I noticed it before I even got out of the dealer's parking lot, but the biggest change is at speed. I don't have the Pony Package, so I didn't have sways at all on the rear and just the standard stock one on the front. Both sways were just $99 from Newtakeoff, but I also got the poly bushings and paid for the install. I had about $350 invested in the project before it was finished. That's more than I intended when I started, but I still think it was money well spent.

Got a Q. My stang is a 08, Base model. Least I think it is. Dealer ship said it was a Pony Package, And had a shaker system, Hahahaha Ya right. But i did the GT rear sway bar and was about to do the front. Well I found out that mine came stock withe the bigger GT front sway bar. Just wondering if anyone else has noticed or not.

I have an 06 pony package and planning on installing the X in the future. I will be switching to an 8.8 in the spring. Does anybody have any recomendations on suspension upgrades? I don't know a lot about suspension, just something I never really got involved in. Input/advise would be great.
Thanks

The 8.8 is more unsprung weight and needs the GT rear springs and shocks...
