Does anyone Know what Relay Derf00 is refering to? I have the same problem described above I have gone thru two batterys and am on my 4th alternator in ten months. I would love to try changing the relay and see if things behave better.

Default same problem

When you turn the car off and take the key out, before you open a door, listen very carefuly, you'll hear what sounds like two noisey small gears rotating, that's actually the relay. when you open the door it should stop after a second or two.

I have a new battery and alternator Could it still be the same problem
